One Recipe / Five Kitchens
We will take one recipe once a week and make it in our own way. We will substitute, add or completely change the same recipe to fit our lifestyles, tastes and our KITCHENS. We want to show the world that cooking comes from the heart and that no matter what you are making, if you make it with love it will taste amazing.

- My Story I was exposed to cooking at age 5 by my grandma. I was taught not to measure and to
share the cooked meal instead of the family recipe. At age 10 I started cooking for my entire family,

- My Story I’m from Caracas,Venezuela and have always enjoyed food, eating it and making it or just making a mess in the kitchen. My grandma’s have always been big on cooking and I’ve learned to cook things that i make into a healthier option but still yummy because bland is not for me I just making small adjustments or substitutions to a more plant based or organic recipe. In this quarantine I think I’ve found a new passion COOKING! See you in the kitchen.
- My superpower is being a mom, friend, wife, chef, dietitian, sister, house cleaner all under one hat
- I only dance to salsa, merengue & reggueton
- my favorite holiday is Christmas
- I drink water for sure, but in good company I like red wine or whatever Cori and I come up with!
- my go-to food is anything with cheese
- I would bring guacamole and my family
- Fun Fact – I can never go a day without dark chocolate
- My Story I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, many who meet me think I am a “gringa” but they are completely in shock when I start speaking in Spanish! I laugh every time this happens. I have been married for 12 years and we have 2 beautiful boys, ages 4 and 2. Most of my life I have been surrounded by food, grew up cooking with my parents and then ventured out to complete a career in culinary arts. After working 5 years in the restaurant business I completed my Nutrition degree and became a registered dietitian nutritionist. Being a chef and dietitian is the best of both worlds, I love to create foods to fit any healthy lifestyle but with moderation I love to indulge and enjoy life too! I love creating recipes and also making ingredient adjustments so I am very excited for this new venture to show you what me and my friends can stir up the kitchen!
- My superpower is getting every single dish in kitchen dirty, even to make a bowl of cereal!
- I only dance to good music
- My favorite holiday is Christmas
- I drink everything and anything in front of me, I know! it’s a gift…
- My go-to food is Chips…okay not chip”s”…Cheez Its
- I would bring the kitchen gadgets and hair dye
- Fun Fact – I am a die hard Disney fan, I have hidden Mickeys all over my house
- My Story Born in Venezuela, moved to Florida when I was 8 and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I was gifted with growing up with two cultures, and feel very lucky. I come from a family that loves to cook, my mom is a baker and my older brother is a master at the grill (and pretty much everything he cooks) so my bar is set pretty high. Cooking to me is very comforting, it feels like home. I moved to California in 2017 leaving my family in Florida and cooking is definitely my way of connecting. Coming from “the bakers” training and way of cooking, I like to follow the recipes to the T. Most likely will deviate if I don’t like the ingredient (for example I HATE mustard!! yuck). I am single, workaholic and travel a lot (for personal and for work) so I foresee some challenges ahead for me. Can’t wait for all of us to show our beautiful personalities through our cooking.
- My superpower is I have never met a stranger
- I only dance to anything with rhythm…
- My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving
- I drink old fashions (no cherry please!) and pinot noir
- my go-to food is cheese and crackers, and did I say cheese?
- I would bring if I’m feeling fancy, something homemade, if not, wine
- Fun Fact – My kitchen is smaller than my bathroom
- My Story I am a Venezuelan transplant in Los Angeles and since I was born I’ve been my mother’s sous chef. I am a full time life coach and passionate about cooking anything with cheese and other things. To understand a little of my passion for this project I’ll leave you this quote: “One of the delights of life is eating with friends, second to that is talking about eating. And, for an unsurpassed double whammy, there is talking about eating while you are eating with friends.” – Laurie Colwin, ‘Home Cooking’
